Warhammer

This 14thC- 15thC German war hammer is replicated from a piece at the Germanisch National Museum in Nuremburg. This substantial carbon steel hammer is just what you need when attacking fully armoured knights in Medieval Europe.

War hammers generally had a faceted hammer for blows and a sharper pointed side which could be used for piercing/ripping.

This beautifully devastating example can be purchased mounted on a fantastic, shaped ash shaft with a steel end cap. All riveted together with steel rivets and decorative bronze rivet washers and looking, and assembled just like the original.

Available unmounted or mounted on a

55cm/22” ash shaft

Weight 1.1kg 2.4lbs

Total length 54cm, 21 1/4"

14thC Rondel Dagger

Rondel daggers were medieval military anti-armour daggers that were often long and heavy:  fine for the battlefield, but less comfortable around court or when you were wearing your finery. For those moments a smaller, more subtle, but no less lethal knife was appropriate.  This rondel dagger of 1400-1430, found in the Thames, features a hollow ground blade, twisted barley corn grip and hollow top and bottom rondels with repousse decoration.

A low to middle status soldier, knight or archers dagger with fabricated hollow rondels so it won’t overbalance and a strong single edged blade with a reinforced point.

Steel brazed rondels, wooden grip, thick carbon steel blade.  Veg tan leather sheath available in black, brown, red or green. If you do not state a sheath colour on your order we shall choose a suitable colour which can not be changed once shipped.
