Artist: Allie Zeyer
Title: A Spring Pair (Two Daffodils)
Material: Oil
Size: 6x6 inches
Price: $525
About the artwork: Sunbleached boards lean against the framework of a weathered structure. The overgrowth of trees, shrubs, and foliage weave in and around each beam. It’s an intricate balance of light, shadow, texture and form telling stories of the days that have gone by as a patchwork of time.
About the artist: Rural life defines much of Allie’s subject matter, which can be attributed to her surroundings growing up in Utah and her current typography of Western Idaho. A few years ago, she was highlighted by Southwest Art Magazine as an “Artist to Watch.” Since then, she’s received awards through respectable art associations such as the OPA, AWA and AIS in their regional and national shows. As of December, she reached signature status with the American Impressionist Society - an accomplishment achieved by only 14% of its entire membership. Allie currently resides in Meridian, ID with her husband and young children. "If you're ever in the neighborhood, stop on by, we'll venture out and paint."
